TV favourite Anna Ryder Richardson is taking a break from changing rooms for a bit of makeover on herself.

TV favourite Anna Ryder Richardson is taking a break from changing rooms for a bit of makeover on herself.

The on-screen interior designer is undergoing a series of Sculptra® non-surgical cosmetic treatments, to help naturally reduce the signs of ageing and replenish her youthful glow.

Being on screen has made Anna, aged 45, more aware of the effects of ageing on her skin and she wanted a natural way to help refresh her looks.

Although she has always maintained a good skin care routine, Anna admits that she is a bit of a sun worshiper, which has had damaging effects to her skin over the years. She decided to try Sculptra® as she wanted a natural, more youthful look.

“I never used to worry about ageing, until the last year or so, when I have caught the occasional reflection of me looking tired, with funny jowls at the top of my jaw,” said mum-of-two Anna.

I want a more natural look than that and something that also lasts longer. If friends and family who haven’t seen me for a while say to me, ‘you look well, healthy, fresh’, that will mean Sculptra® has been really successful for me.”

Sculptra® is a collagen stimulator that works to build up the body’s own natural collagen to help gradually smooth lines and wrinkles and restore facial volume, giving a fuller, younger-looking complexion. Results typically occur around six weeks after treatment and, depending on the individual, two to three treatments are usually required for full results which can last up to two years.

Anna will be starting her treatments in May with top Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Angelica Kavouni.

The high-profile Changing Rooms presenter featured as a contestant on "I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" in 2007 and more recently in her own documentary on Channel 4, Chaos at the Zoo.
